We are excited to host the inaugural Bunyah Koalas Open Day on Saturday the 13th of May. With LLS support we are providing a bus to and from Newcastle (pick up and drop off at Trees in Newcastle (TIN)) so jump on board and enjoy a day out in Koala country.
The day will include tours of our Project highlighting our recent koala food tree plantings, upcoming Koala/Glider population and health assessments and our Farming for Conservation initiatives. Mid Coast Council will also be there to share information on their regional koala conservation activities and programs. We both have lots of citizen science programs running and plenty of opportunities for those of you who might want to help out with koala conservation either now or in the future.
A simple lunch will be provided with vegan and meat lover lunch options provided (Soup and BBQ). The day will include information sessions, tree planting and paddock walks.
